We carry out traditional pointing using lime mortar in a full range of styles to suit the age and character of your property. Lime mortar is always our recommended choice, particularly for older and listed buildings, due to its breathability, flexibility, and long-term benefits. However, we understand that every project is different, and we are happy to work with cement-based mortars if requested by the customer, ensuring the finish still meets a high standard of workmanship.
Doff Cleaning
The Thermotech DOFF system is a specialist steam-based cleaning machine widely used in the conservation of historic buildings and sensitive surfaces. Unlike standard pressure washers, the DOFF machine uses superheated water at high temperatures and low pressure, allowing it to gently remove dirt, paint, algae, and biological growth without damaging stone, brick, or delicate materials. Brick and Stone replacements
We take great care to ensure all repairs blend seamlessly with the existing structure by carefully matching both mortar and materials. Using traditional techniques, we colour and texture match lime mortar to suit the original build, preserving the character and integrity of the property. Wherever possible, we source and use reclaimed brick and stone to achieve an authentic finish, ensuring any repairs are in keeping with the age and style of the building while maintaining the highest standards of workmanship
